Industrial design is not only about mass production, but also, to improve handmade production. Bam-boost was born in the workshops of Boisbuchet (Vitra Design Museum) with one target: to help small communities come up with products that are more affordable.
Bam-boost is an eco-sustainable amplifier device, focused on a specific Indian community where bamboo is their main material. To complete this task, the objective was to be simple to make, in a short time, and with the minimal use of machinery.
Project developed in the workshop "Social Responsible Design" dictated by Sigga Heimis in Boisbuchet, Vitra Design Museum.
